The Day

Please note, although we would love to have all our family and friends including children present, due to available numbers, we are unable to facilitate this. As such, for both the Ceremony and Reception we ask you to please take a day off from parenting and leave the little ones at home.

The Reception

The reception will be held at "The Yard Bright" and will be open to all wedding guests starting at 4:00 PM. Enjoy a full sit-down meal featuring an entrée, main course, and wedding cake for dessert. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know as early as possible so we can accommodate you in the menu planning. Just a friendly reminder: preferences based on dislike (as opposed to medical or religious reasons) can't be accommodated, so we appreciate your understanding.

Throughout the evening, there will be several speeches from friends and family, followed by plenty of time to dance the night away. Make sure to wear your dancing shoes, bring your piss-fitness and be ready for a lively celebration—it’s going to be a night to remember.

I’m sure you’ve all attended weddings before, so you know the drill—it’s a pretty straightforward affair!

The Ceremony

The ceremony will take place at Bakers Gully Nature Walk, atop a weir within the reserve, starting around 2:30 PM. It’s a short 100-meter walk along a nature trail from the roadside, where parking is available. For directions to the venue, please  check here. Seating will be provided during the ceremony, and there will be champagne for toasting afterward. After the ceremony, the couple and their parties will head off for photos, and you’re welcome to make your way to the reception venue at your leisure.

The dress code is “wedding formal,” but keep in mind that you’ll need to navigate a bit of uneven terrain to reach the ceremony. I recommend avoiding your best stilettos unless you’re prepared for a bumpy walk to the altar. For some fashion inspiration, check out the linked Pinterest board featuring Jayde’s top style tips.

We kindly ask that no phones be used to take photos or record the ceremony, as we’ll have a professional photographer on-site. We’d prefer to keep the focus on the moment rather than a sea of phones. However, feel free to snap away afterward and remember to tag your photos with #kimjayde2025!

The Recovery

After a night of celebrating (and maybe a bit too much fun), we’re inviting all wedding guests and kids to a recovery breakfast/brunch at our accommodation, Old Mill Park. Join us for some much-needed hydration, headaches remedies, and delicious egg and bacon rolls to help you bounce back!

We’d love to share this time together for fun conversations and catch-ups before going our separate ways again.
